Sirius Coyote
Sirius Coyote Duo: Giovanni Ciarlo and Kathleen Sartor perform musical renditions of original songs that celebrate contemporary cultural, social, and environmental issues. Many of their instruments are derived from native traditions of the Americas, and are intended to reproduce sounds occurring in nature: of the wind, birds, animals, waterfalls, oceans, the jungle and deserts. They use these instruments in combination with their well developed skills on guitar, flutes, drums and voice to produce a celebratory music that is both ancient and contemporary. Topics included: environmental awareness, community building, sustainability, hands on audience participation, cultural diversity through music, history and folklore of the Americas and Spanish and English songs for all ages! |
