Cut flowers, mixed bouquets, dried arrangements in season
This is Erin Dake’s first season growing specialty cut flowers in Northfield. This follows interning a few seasons at a local vegetable farm (in Washington Depot) and most recently completing a 9 month apprenticeship at the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture in Pocantico Hills, NY. Growing flowers is Erin’s passion and she hopes to share this beautiful crop within the local community in which she was raised.
Erin will be growing a wide selection of flowers including celosia, lisianthus, marigolds, cosmos, zinnias, sunflowers, amaranth, dahlias, ammi and several more. She will sell specialty fresh cut flowers as well as having a dried selection in the later weeks of fall.
Erin is a big promoter of the Slow Flower Movement, and hopes to spread the word within the community of supporting local flower growers.
