Bethany Homecrafts
Mary Lynne makes a variety of things. She needles small felt animals, birds, wall hangings, embellishments placed onto gently loved re-purposed clothing. She loves recycling, so you’ll find repurposed wool sweaters posing as new felted hats, mittens, wrist warmers and more.

This week at the market Mary Lynne will talk about recycling clothing in general, re-using materials that already exist and keeping the out of the waste stream – felted sweaters, t-shirts, old jeans, etc.  From 10:30 – 11 AM she will do a demonstration on how to make a produce bag from an old t-shirt.  She will be available to show examples and answer questions throughout the market.  If you have wool sweaters you’re no longer using, she’d be happy to give them a new home, or repurpose them for you!

Talk about recycling clothing in general, and how that can re-use materials that already exist and keep others out of the waste stream.  I’ll do a demo on making a produce bag from an old t-shirt, and talk about using felted sweaters, and even old jeans.
